CHIPAXE - 28 pin

Picture
This is the smallest and original CHIPAXE module that includes a PIC16F886 microcontroller. It plugs directly into a breadboard and can be programmed through its 6-pin header that plugs directly into a PICkit 2/3 programmer. The module has the microcontroller socketed so you can replace it with any PIC16F 28-pin Microchip microcontroller.

The parts that can be used with this include:
16F57, 72, 73, 76, 722A, 723A, 726, 737, 767, 913, 916, 882, 883, 886, 1512, 1513, 1516, 1518, 1782, 1783, 1786, 1933, 1936, 1938
16LF1902, 1903, 1906
18F2220, 2221, 2320, 2321, 23K20, 23K22, 2410, 2420, 2423, 2431, 2450, 2455, 2458, 2480, 24J10, 24J11, 24J50, 24K20, 24K22, 2510, 2515, 2520, 2523, 2525, 2550, 2553, 2580, 2585, 25J10, 25J11, 25J50, 25K20, 25K22, 25K80, 2610, 2620, 2680, 2682, 2685, 26J11, 26J13, 26J50, 26J53, 26K20, 26K22

The PIC16F886, 18F2550, 18F25J20 and 18F25K22 are all supported by the new Student edition of the PBP3 BASIC compiler and also all the 28-pin parts are supported by the free version of the Microchip HI-TECH C compiler, Microchip XC8 compiler and Gold version of PBP3.
